At Neo, we understand change can be hard and that to get the most out of new software, is more than reading articles and ticking off a checklist of tasks. So, we have designed a tailored and collaborative five session onboarding program that prioritises learning and ongoing support, including change management, customised to meet the specific needs of each business. Your Team + Neo team + Neo Platform = Success.
Session 1: Kick off, finalise roles and timelines.
Session 2: Core platform training for: clients, projects and staff and begin payroll/EBA set up (if applicable).
Session 3: Template training: set up custom forms, site diary categories, scheduled works, and SMS/notification templates.​
Session 4: Workflow training: how to schedule/notify staff, approve daily log and access reports​.
Session 5: Mobile app training: comprehensive training on using both the fieldworker and supervisor app.

Neo is built specifically for subcontractors, so onboarding is streamlined to fit your operations. The process includes system setup, configuration based on your business needs, training for your key team members, and guidance on rolling Neo out to your team.

3. Who in my company should be involved in onboarding?
The right people depend on how you run your business. Typically, Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, Payroll/Admin, and key team members responsible for scheduling, payroll, dispute resolution, and compliance play a key role in onboarding.
4. Will you train my entire team?
We train your key team members so they can confidently roll Neo out within your business. Because Neo is built for simplicity, your team will find it easy to adopt, and we provide guides, videos, and ongoing support to assist with training.
5. Can we customise Neo to fit our business processes?
Yes! Neo is purpose-built for subcontractors but flexible enough to match your workflows. During onboarding, we configure it to align with your scheduling, timesheets, payroll rules, and compliance needs.
6. How do I know my team will actually use Neo?

7. Can Neo handle our complex EBA interpretation and multiple pay rules?
Yes! Neo is built to handle multiple pay rules, EBAs, and award interpretations accurately. As part of onboarding, we work closely with your payroll team to configure the system, run extensive tests using your historical payroll data, and ensure everything matches before going live. Nothing is rolled out to your team until your payroll team has reviewed and approved the setup, giving you complete confidence in accuracy before timesheets go live on-site.
